Greetings from UNIMAS Entrepreneurship
Welcome to the UNIMAS Entrepreneurship Centre (UEC).
At UEC, we believe that entrepreneurship is more than starting a business. It is a transformative learning journey that develops creativity, resilience, leadership, and social responsibility. Our role is to empower students and alumni to translate ideas, research, and talents into impactful ventures that contribute meaningfully to society and the economy.
UEC serves as a strategic platform for experiential learning through real business exposure, structured guidance, and strong engagement with industry and communities. Key initiatives such as the Job on Campus programme provide students with opportunities to work and learn through entrepreneurship while studying, enabling them to gain practical experience, develop business skills, and generate income within a safe and structured campus environment. Through this approach, students are not only learners but also active contributors to the university entrepreneurial ecosystem.
In addition, the UEC Incubator plays an important role in nurturing early stage student and alumni startups. The incubator supports idea validation, product development, mentoring, and market readiness, ensuring that innovative concepts are guided towards sustainable and scalable ventures. These initiatives strengthen the pipeline from classroom learning to real world enterprise creation.
In line with national development aspirations and global sustainability goals, UEC places strong emphasis on impact driven entrepreneurship. Our programmes are designed to enhance graduate employability and marketability, while also cultivating job creators, social innovators, and responsible leaders who are capable of addressing real world challenges through innovation and enterprise.
UEC works closely with faculties, industry partners, government agencies, communities, and alumni to ensure that our initiatives remain relevant and responsive to evolving economic and societal needs. Through collaboration and shared commitment, UEC continues to strengthen UNIMAS as a university that develops talent, drives innovation, and delivers meaningful impact.
I invite students, alumni, partners, and the wider community to engage with UEC and be part of an entrepreneurial journey that transforms ideas into action and innovation into impact.
